Outstanding Service and Support I woke up this morning to zero water pressure and expected the worst. I called their service line, and instead of immediately scheduling a costly visit, the technician patiently walked me through a step‑by‑step troubleshooting process. With his guidance, I was able to isolate the issue and fix it myself — no service call needed. It’s rare to find a company that first ensures that the correct problem is identified before scheduling a service call. His professionalism and willingness to help saved me time, money, and a lot of stress. I couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommended.

Was having pressure issues. They walked me through some things on the phone and then came out on Saturday. -1 degree outside. Found a broken fitting by the well pump. Very reasonably priced and didn’t try to sell me a new pump that I didn’t need. I would call them anytime I have an issue. Thanks TLC

Highly recommend. They were able to troubleshoot the problem with the well over the phone on our initial call and patiently waited as I eventually did a temporary fix. On the service call to install a new tank and switch, they went above and beyond with an electrical issue, and even helped with a whole house water filter.

Very impressed with TLC Well Service. They came out on a Sunday in freezing cold temperatures to replace my well pump. Very professional and personable. Went above and beyond expectations to solve my problem. They continued checking and exceeded expectations days after the job was done. I highly recommend TLC for any well service you need.

Work through the equipment in the right order

Older parts and tight access do not have to mean guesswork

A pressure switch, tank, pump, line, or filter can cause similar symptoms. TLC checks the water system safely and uses the results to guide the repair.

Portage Township includes many established homes where tanks, controls, filters, or softeners may share limited basement or utility space. TLC checks each part without asking the homeowner to sort through the equipment first.

You get a simple explanation of what failed, whether it can be repaired, and what replacement would change. TLC keeps the recommendation tied to the problem at your home.

Common warnings in established homes

Six Portage Township water problems TLC handles

A new sound, leak, stain, or pressure change is enough reason to call. TLC finds the cause without expecting you to name the failed part.

Water stops throughout the home

A Portage outage can start with the electrical supply, controls, pump, tank, underground line, or well. TLC checks each likely cause.

One area has weak flow

A branch line, valve, filter, fixture, or leak may explain why one floor or building has less water. A restricted filter, older valve, or branch of household plumbing may cause a problem in only one area.

Pressure swings up and down

Surging water in a Portage home can point to the pressure tank, switch, gauge, controls, pump, or changing demand elsewhere on the property.

The breaker keeps tripping

Leave the Portage well breaker off if it trips again. A wire, control, motor, or pump problem needs to be checked before more resets cause damage.

The system makes new sounds

Humming, shaking, banging, or repeated clicking at a Portage home gives TLC a useful clue. The sound can come from several connected parts.

Water leaves stains or smells

Orange marks, cloudy glasses, sediment, or a sulfur smell in Portage should be tested. TLC uses the results to explain useful treatment choices.

What to expect from TLC

How TLC checks and repairs your well system

The visit follows four clear steps. You get an answer you can understand and a repair based on what the system needs.

  1. Ask what changed

TLC asks when the problem began, what happens when you use water, and whether it affects the whole home.

  2. Check the system

The technician checks the pump, tank, switch, controls, water lines, well, and treatment equipment.

  3. Find the problem

These checks show which part is causing the trouble and whether another issue is making it worse.

  4. Explain and fix it

TLC explains what was found, answers your questions, and completes the repair you approve.

Tell TLC what changed at the fixtures and equipment

There is no need to open a control box or move treatment equipment. What you can see and hear from a safe distance gives TLC useful clues.

01

How far it reaches

Tell TLC whether the issue reaches the whole Portage home, only hot water, one floor, or another building on the property.

02

How the flow changes

Notice whether Portage water starts strong, fades during use, comes back after a rest, or surges while a fixture is open.

03

Sounds near the equipment

Clicking, humming, banging, or a nonstop pump at a Portage home can help TLC choose the first checks.

04

Recent work or weather

Mention power trouble, digging, freezing, plumbing work, filter service, or heavier water use at the Portage property.

Portage Township well-service questions

Clear answers for common well and water problems

Does TLC offer 24/7 well repair in Portage Township?

Yes. Call (574) 314-2447 when a Portage home has no water, the pump will not stop, the breaker keeps tripping, or another well problem cannot wait.

Does no water always mean the pump failed?

No. A Portage home can lose water because of a switch, tank, wire, control, supply line, or well problem. TLC checks the system before recommending a new pump.

Can TLC work on older pressure tanks and controls?

Yes. TLC checks the tank, switch, gauge, controls, and pump together. Repair may be possible, or TLC can explain replacement when a part is worn out.

Can TLC fix weak pressure without replacing the pump?

Often, yes. The cause at a Portage property may be the tank, switch, filter, pipe, valve, leak, or well. TLC finds what limits the flow before discussing replacement.

Can TLC help with stains, grit, or a sulfur smell?

Yes. TLC can check the Portage well system and help arrange a water test. Results show whether a filter, softener, purification system, or chlorination may help.

How often should a Portage Township private well be checked?

Have Portage well equipment inspected each year. Call sooner after a change in pressure, cycling, sound, color, taste, or odor. Indiana also recommends a water test every year.
