Outstanding Service and Support I woke up this morning to zero water pressure and expected the worst. I called their service line, and instead of immediately scheduling a costly visit, the technician patiently walked me through a step‑by‑step troubleshooting process. With his guidance, I was able to isolate the issue and fix it myself — no service call needed. It’s rare to find a company that first ensures that the correct problem is identified before scheduling a service call. His professionalism and willingness to help saved me time, money, and a lot of stress. I couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommended.

Was having pressure issues. They walked me through some things on the phone and then came out on Saturday. -1 degree outside. Found a broken fitting by the well pump. Very reasonably priced and didn’t try to sell me a new pump that I didn’t need. I would call them anytime I have an issue. Thanks TLC

Highly recommend. They were able to troubleshoot the problem with the well over the phone on our initial call and patiently waited as I eventually did a temporary fix. On the service call to install a new tank and switch, they went above and beyond with an electrical issue, and even helped with a whole house water filter.

Very impressed with TLC Well Service. They came out on a Sunday in freezing cold temperatures to replace my well pump. Very professional and personable. Went above and beyond expectations to solve my problem. They continued checking and exceeded expectations days after the job was done. I highly recommend TLC for any well service you need.

Start with the problem you can see

TLC checks the full system so you get the right repair

A change at the faucet may start with the pump, tank, switch, pipes, well, or treatment equipment. TLC checks the likely causes so the repair fits the problem.

Homes near Notre Dame and Clay Township include older systems and newer updates. Some have filters, softeners, finished basements, or newer plumbing. TLC takes those differences into account during the visit.

You get a clear answer about what is wrong and what should happen next. The fix may be a repair, an adjustment, a water test, or a plan for future service.

Clues from your faucets and well equipment

Six signs that your well system needs help

Tell TLC what happens when you turn on the water. We will check the system and find the part that needs attention.

The whole home has no water

The cause may be the power, controls, pump, water line, or well. TLC checks the system and finds where the water stopped.

Pressure drops during normal use

Water may start strong and fade during a shower or while an appliance runs. The tank, pump, pipes, or well may need attention.

The pump starts too often

Repeated starts can wear out the pump. TLC checks the tank, switch, controls, and system for a loss of pressure.

Faucets keep spitting air

A little air after plumbing work may clear on its own. Air that keeps coming back can point to a pump, well, or water-line problem.

The water looks different

Cloudy water, grit, orange stains, or dark particles should be checked. TLC helps find whether the change starts in the well, pipes, or treatment equipment.

The water smells or tastes different

A sulfur smell, metal taste, or musty odor should be tested. The results help TLC choose treatment that matches the water problem.

What to expect from TLC

How TLC finds and fixes a Notre Dame-area well problem

TLC follows four clear steps to find the problem and get the water working again.

  1. Ask about the problem

TLC asks what changed, when it began, and where you notice the problem.

  2. Check the well system

The technician checks the pump, tank, switch, controls, pipes, and any equipment that treats the water.

  3. Find the cause

These checks show which part is causing the trouble and whether another issue is adding to it.

  4. Explain and make the repair

TLC explains the problem, reviews the repair, and completes the work needed to restore steady water.

Useful clues for the first conversation

Four observations can help TLC narrow the problem sooner

You do not need technical answers. A few simple details can help TLC know where to begin.

01

Affected areas

Notice whether the issue reaches every fixture, one floor, or only hot or treated water.

02

Timing

Notice whether the change was sudden, grew over time, or gets worse during showers, laundry, or other heavy use.

03

Sounds and cycling

Listen for clicks, humming, shaking, or a pump that starts more often or runs longer than before.

04

Recent events

Think about storms, power loss, freezing, plumbing work, or heavy water use before the problem started.

Notre Dame private-well questions

Answers for homeowners dealing with well-water changes

Does TLC offer emergency well service near Notre Dame?

Yes. TLC provides 24/7 response for urgent well failures, including a complete loss of water, sudden pressure collapse, pump trouble, and uncontrolled cycling. Call (574) 314-2447 and describe what happened before the water stopped.

What should I do if every faucet suddenly goes dry?

Avoid repeatedly resetting a tripped breaker or forcing the pump to restart. Check whether both hot and cold fixtures are affected, look for visible leakage, and call TLC so the power, controls, pump, tank, and supply path can be checked safely.

Can weak water pressure be repaired without replacing the pump?

Often, yes. The problem may be the tank, switch, filter, softener, valve, pipe, or a leak. TLC checks these parts before recommending a new pump.

Why does pressure fall when several fixtures run?

The tank, pump, pipes, filters, or well may not be keeping up with the demand. TLC tests the system before recommending a repair or replacement.

Should private well water near Notre Dame be tested every year?

Yes. The Indiana Department of Health recommends testing private well water at least annually. Testing is also wise after flooding, major well work, or a noticeable change in color, clarity, taste, or odor.

Can a homebuyer arrange a well inspection near Notre Dame?

Yes. TLC can check how the system works and look for visible problems. Buyers should also arrange the water testing required for the sale of a home with an onsite well.
