Outstanding Service and Support I woke up this morning to zero water pressure and expected the worst. I called their service line, and instead of immediately scheduling a costly visit, the technician patiently walked me through a step‑by‑step troubleshooting process. With his guidance, I was able to isolate the issue and fix it myself — no service call needed. It’s rare to find a company that first ensures that the correct problem is identified before scheduling a service call. His professionalism and willingness to help saved me time, money, and a lot of stress. I couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommended.

Was having pressure issues. They walked me through some things on the phone and then came out on Saturday. -1 degree outside. Found a broken fitting by the well pump. Very reasonably priced and didn’t try to sell me a new pump that I didn’t need. I would call them anytime I have an issue. Thanks TLC

Highly recommend. They were able to troubleshoot the problem with the well over the phone on our initial call and patiently waited as I eventually did a temporary fix. On the service call to install a new tank and switch, they went above and beyond with an electrical issue, and even helped with a whole house water filter.

Very impressed with TLC Well Service. They came out on a Sunday in freezing cold temperatures to replace my well pump. Very professional and personable. Went above and beyond expectations to solve my problem. They continued checking and exceeded expectations days after the job was done. I highly recommend TLC for any well service you need.

Follow the problem across the property

TLC checks the well system and every connected use

A pressure loss may start with the pump, tank, controls, main line, branch line, well, or total water demand. TLC checks the system under real use.

Properties near New Paris may use one well for the house, garage, barn, animal water, and outdoor faucets. Longer lines and separate branches make it important to find where the problem begins.

TLC explains whether the trouble is limited to one line or affects the main well system. You receive a repair plan based on the cause, not a guess from the symptom.

Clues across a multi-use water system

Six signs a New Paris-area well needs service

Tell TLC where the water problem appears first. Comparing the home, outbuildings, and outdoor connections helps narrow the cause.

The full property loses water

Power, controls, the pump, pressure tank, main supply line, or well may stop water from reaching every building.

One branch has low pressure

A closed valve, leak, freeze, damaged pipe, or long water-line run may weaken one building while the rest stays normal.

Flow falls during heavy use

The pump, tank, pipes, well, or combined demand may not keep up when several water uses run at the same time.

The pump never reaches shutoff

A leak, worn pump, switch problem, blocked line, or well issue can keep the system from building full pressure.

The ground turns wet along a line

Soft soil or unexplained moisture may mark an underground leak that wastes water and makes the pump run more.

Water changes at several buildings

A shared color, grit, taste, or odor change may begin before the branches split and should be checked and tested.

What to expect from TLC

How TLC finds and fixes a New Paris well problem

The visit follows four clear steps. You get an answer you can understand and a repair based on what the system actually needs.

  1. Ask about the problem

TLC asks what changed, when it started, and what happens when you use the water.

  2. Check the well system

The technician checks the pump, tank, switch, controls, water lines, and treatment equipment.

  3. Find the cause

The checks show which part is causing the trouble and whether another issue is adding to it.

  4. Explain and make the repair

TLC explains what was found, answers your questions, and completes the repair you approve.

Help TLC see the full property pattern

Four observations can separate a branch problem from a well problem

You do not need to trace pipes or open controls. A few checks at normal faucets and waterers give TLC useful information.

01

Compare buildings

Notice whether the home, garage, barn, or another building loses flow first and whether any part still has normal pressure.

02

Compare light and heavy use

Tell TLC whether one faucet works well but pressure falls when several fixtures or waterers run together.

03

Watch the pump

Listen for a pump that starts every few seconds, runs for a long time, hums without water, or stays silent.

04

Look for a leak

Check for wet ground, running water, hissing, or an unexplained damp area along a known line without digging it up.

New Paris private-well questions

Guidance for water problems across the property

Can TLC respond after hours near New Paris?

Yes. TLC offers 24/7 help when a property loses water, a pump will not shut off, a breaker keeps tripping, or another well failure is urgent. Call (574) 314-2447.

Why does the house have water but the barn does not?

The barn branch may have a closed valve, leak, freeze, damaged pipe, or other blockage. TLC checks that line and compares it with the main system.

Can a long water line reduce pressure?

Yes. Pipe size, length, elevation, valves, leaks, and demand can affect flow. TLC checks the actual system before recommending a larger pump.

What should I do when the pump runs nonstop?

Look for visible leakage and turn off the pump if water is escaping. Then call TLC so the pressure switch, tank, pump, lines, and well can be checked.

Can TLC repair a line between the well and several buildings?

Yes. TLC can locate water-line trouble and review the best repair for the damaged main or branch serving the property.

Should well water be tested after a line repair?

Testing and chlorination may be recommended after certain repairs. TLC can explain the right steps for the work completed and help with treatment.
