Outstanding Service and Support I woke up this morning to zero water pressure and expected the worst. I called their service line, and instead of immediately scheduling a costly visit, the technician patiently walked me through a step‑by‑step troubleshooting process. With his guidance, I was able to isolate the issue and fix it myself — no service call needed. It’s rare to find a company that first ensures that the correct problem is identified before scheduling a service call. His professionalism and willingness to help saved me time, money, and a lot of stress. I couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommended.

Was having pressure issues. They walked me through some things on the phone and then came out on Saturday. -1 degree outside. Found a broken fitting by the well pump. Very reasonably priced and didn’t try to sell me a new pump that I didn’t need. I would call them anytime I have an issue. Thanks TLC

Highly recommend. They were able to troubleshoot the problem with the well over the phone on our initial call and patiently waited as I eventually did a temporary fix. On the service call to install a new tank and switch, they went above and beyond with an electrical issue, and even helped with a whole house water filter.

Very impressed with TLC Well Service. They came out on a Sunday in freezing cold temperatures to replace my well pump. Very professional and personable. Went above and beyond expectations to solve my problem. They continued checking and exceeded expectations days after the job was done. I highly recommend TLC for any well service you need.

One call for the whole well system

You describe the water problem. TLC finds what is causing it.

A dry faucet or pressure drop can begin with the pump, tank, switch, controls, supply line, well, or treatment equipment. TLC checks the connected system instead of guessing.

Elkhart properties range from established city-edge homes to larger lots near the county roads. Well equipment may be outdoors, in a basement, or connected to filters and softeners. TLC works through the setup that is actually at your home.

You get a plain explanation of what failed and the work needed to fix it. If a repair can solve the problem, TLC will not treat replacement as the automatic answer.

Signs your water system needs attention

Six problems TLC handles for Elkhart homeowners

You do not need to identify the bad part. Tell TLC what happens when you use the water and whether the change affects the whole home.

The home has no water

TLC checks the electrical supply, controls, pump, pressure tank, water line, and well until the cause of the outage is clear.

Pressure fades during use

If showers weaken or appliances fill slowly, the tank, pump, filters, pipes, well, or a leak may be holding back the flow.

The pump keeps starting

Repeated clicking and short runs can wear out a pump. TLC checks the tank, switch, controls, and system for lost pressure.

The pump will not shut off

A pump that runs without stopping may be fighting a leak, pressure problem, worn part, or a well that cannot keep up.

The water looks cloudy or rusty

Color, grit, or staining can come from the well, plumbing, water heater, or treatment equipment. Testing helps guide the next step.

A new taste or smell appears

A sulfur smell, metal taste, or musty odor should be checked. TLC can help arrange testing and explain treatment choices.

What to expect from TLC

How TLC finds and fixes a Elkhart well problem

The visit follows four clear steps. You get an answer you can understand and a repair based on what the system actually needs.

  1. Ask about the problem

TLC asks what changed, when it started, and what happens when you use the water.

  2. Check the well system

The technician checks the pump, tank, switch, controls, water lines, and treatment equipment.

  3. Find the cause

The checks show which part is causing the trouble and whether another issue is adding to it.

  4. Explain and make the repair

TLC explains what was found, answers your questions, and completes the repair you approve.

Simple details that help TLC get started

Four things to notice before you call

There is no homework and no need to diagnose the system. A few observations help TLC choose the best place to begin the check.

01

Where it happens

Notice whether every fixture is affected or the trouble is limited to hot water, one room, or water after a filter or softener.

02

When it began

Think about whether the change was sudden, grew slowly, or appeared after a storm, power loss, plumbing repair, or filter change.

03

What the pump does

Listen for fast clicking, humming, shaking, long run times, or silence when the pump would normally start.

04

What makes it worse

Notice whether showers, laundry, outdoor use, or several fixtures running together make the pressure fall.

Elkhart well-service questions

Straight answers for common well and water problems

Does TLC offer 24/7 well repair in Elkhart?

Yes. Call (574) 314-2447 when the home has no water, the pump will not shut off, the breaker keeps tripping, or another well problem cannot wait.

Does no water always mean the well pump failed?

No. A switch, pressure tank, wire, control, supply line, or well problem can leave the faucets dry. TLC checks the system before recommending a new pump.

Can TLC fix weak pressure without replacing the pump?

Often, yes. The cause may be the tank, switch, filter, softener, pipe, valve, leak, or well. TLC finds what is limiting the flow before discussing replacement.

Why does my pump run after I stop using water?

The system may be losing water, struggling to build pressure, or dealing with a worn part. Turn off the pump if you find a leak, then call TLC for a check.

Can TLC help with orange water or a sulfur smell?

Yes. TLC can check the well system and help arrange a water test. The results show whether a filter, softener, purification system, or chlorination may help.

How often should an Elkhart private well be checked?

Have the equipment inspected each year and sooner after a change in pressure, cycling, sound, color, taste, or smell. Indiana also recommends testing private well water annually.
