Outstanding Service and Support I woke up this morning to zero water pressure and expected the worst. I called their service line, and instead of immediately scheduling a costly visit, the technician patiently walked me through a step‑by‑step troubleshooting process. With his guidance, I was able to isolate the issue and fix it myself — no service call needed. It’s rare to find a company that first ensures that the correct problem is identified before scheduling a service call. His professionalism and willingness to help saved me time, money, and a lot of stress. I couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommended.

Was having pressure issues. They walked me through some things on the phone and then came out on Saturday. -1 degree outside. Found a broken fitting by the well pump. Very reasonably priced and didn’t try to sell me a new pump that I didn’t need. I would call them anytime I have an issue. Thanks TLC

Highly recommend. They were able to troubleshoot the problem with the well over the phone on our initial call and patiently waited as I eventually did a temporary fix. On the service call to install a new tank and switch, they went above and beyond with an electrical issue, and even helped with a whole house water filter.

Very impressed with TLC Well Service. They came out on a Sunday in freezing cold temperatures to replace my well pump. Very professional and personable. Went above and beyond expectations to solve my problem. They continued checking and exceeded expectations days after the job was done. I highly recommend TLC for any well service you need.

Homeowner-first well service

TLC checks the connected parts behind the symptom

Pressure and water-quality problems can begin with the pump, tank, switch, pipe, well, filter, or softener. TLC checks the full setup before suggesting work.

Dunlap has established neighborhoods as well as larger properties near the surrounding county roads. Some systems include finished utility spaces or several treatment units. TLC works carefully through the equipment at your home.

You get a clear answer about what failed and what it will take to restore the water. TLC separates the needed repair from optional upgrades so the choice stays understandable.

What homeowners notice first

Six signs your Dunlap well system needs attention

You do not have to know the name of the failed part. The way the water changes gives TLC a useful place to start.

The home suddenly goes dry

TLC checks power to the system, controls, pump, pressure tank, supply line, and well to find the cause.

Upstairs pressure is weak

A whole-home pressure issue, valve, filter, pipe, water heater, or fixture problem may affect one floor more than another.

Pressure drops when laundry runs

The tank, pump, well, pipes, treatment equipment, or a leak may keep the flow from meeting normal household use.

The pump cycles in short bursts

Rapid starts can come from the tank, switch, controls, or hidden water loss. Early repair helps protect the pump.

Filters clog much faster

A sudden increase in material can involve the well, plumbing, filter media, or recent system work and may call for testing.

Hot and cold water smell different

A hot-only smell may begin in the water heater. Odor at every faucet may require a water test and treatment check.

What to expect from TLC

How TLC finds and fixes a Dunlap well problem

The visit follows four clear steps. You get an answer you can understand and a repair based on what the system actually needs.

  1. Ask about the problem

TLC asks what changed, when it started, and what happens when you use the water.

  2. Check the well system

The technician checks the pump, tank, switch, controls, water lines, and treatment equipment.

  3. Find the cause

The checks show which part is causing the trouble and whether another issue is adding to it.

  4. Explain and make the repair

TLC explains what was found, answers your questions, and completes the repair you approve.

Useful details from around the house

Four observations help TLC begin in the right place

You can leave the controls closed and the tools put away. Tell TLC what the faucets and pump are doing during normal household use.

01

Rooms affected

Notice whether the issue is throughout the home, on one floor, only with hot water, or only after a filter or softener.

02

Water-use pattern

Tell TLC if the pressure changes during showers, laundry, dishwashing, outdoor use, or when two fixtures run together.

03

Sound and run time

Listen for new clicks, a hum, vibration, very short starts, or a pump that remains on much longer than usual.

04

Recent service

Think about plumbing repairs, a filter or softener change, a power outage, storm, freeze, or digging before the trouble began.

Dunlap private-well questions

Answers for common household water problems

Does TLC offer emergency well service in Dunlap?

Yes. Call (574) 314-2447 for urgent help when every faucet is dry, the pump fails, the breaker keeps tripping, or another well problem cannot wait.

Why is the pressure worse upstairs?

The problem may involve the overall well pressure, a valve, filter, pipe, water heater, or fixtures on that floor. TLC compares several locations to find where flow is lost.

Could my softener be causing weak water flow?

Yes. A valve or treatment unit can limit water. TLC can compare the pressure before and after the equipment to see whether the well system is involved.

Does fast pump cycling mean I need a new tank?

A bad tank can cause cycling, but the switch, controls, leaks, and other water uses can do the same. TLC checks before replacing parts.

Can TLC help when a filter suddenly catches more grit?

Yes. TLC can inspect the well, plumbing, and treatment setup. A water test may also help when the material or water appearance changes.

Can TLC inspect a Dunlap well before closing on a home?

Yes. TLC can check the visible system and how it operates. The buyer should also arrange the proper water test for the purchase.
