Outstanding Service and Support I woke up this morning to zero water pressure and expected the worst. I called their service line, and instead of immediately scheduling a costly visit, the technician patiently walked me through a step‑by‑step troubleshooting process. With his guidance, I was able to isolate the issue and fix it myself — no service call needed. It’s rare to find a company that first ensures that the correct problem is identified before scheduling a service call. His professionalism and willingness to help saved me time, money, and a lot of stress. I couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommended.

Was having pressure issues. They walked me through some things on the phone and then came out on Saturday. -1 degree outside. Found a broken fitting by the well pump. Very reasonably priced and didn’t try to sell me a new pump that I didn’t need. I would call them anytime I have an issue. Thanks TLC

Highly recommend. They were able to troubleshoot the problem with the well over the phone on our initial call and patiently waited as I eventually did a temporary fix. On the service call to install a new tank and switch, they went above and beyond with an electrical issue, and even helped with a whole house water filter.

Very impressed with TLC Well Service. They came out on a Sunday in freezing cold temperatures to replace my well pump. Very professional and personable. Went above and beyond expectations to solve my problem. They continued checking and exceeded expectations days after the job was done. I highly recommend TLC for any well service you need.

Start with the symptom, not a guess

TLC checks the whole system behind your home’s water

Several parts can cause the same warning sign. TLC checks the pump, tank, switch, controls, line, well, and any treatment equipment before recommending the fix.

Bristol includes established homes near town and larger properties in the surrounding Washington Township area. Equipment may be in a tight basement space, outside near the well, or spread along a longer water line.

TLC explains what is wrong, what can be repaired, and when replacement makes sense. You receive an answer tied to the actual problem at your home.

Changes that should not be ignored

Six signs a Bristol well system needs service

You only need to describe the problem. TLC will ask simple questions, inspect the system, and show you what needs attention.

Every faucet goes dry

The failure may be electrical or come from the controls, pump, tank, supply line, or well. TLC checks each likely source.

Pressure surges and fades

A tank, switch, control, pipe, filter, or pump problem can make the water change strength while a fixture is running.

Clicks repeat near the tank

Fast clicking often means the pump is starting too much. TLC checks the pressure tank, switch, controls, and system for leaks.

The pump hums but no water comes

A hum without flow can point to electrical, motor, pump, line, or well trouble. Repeated attempts can add damage.

Air keeps reaching the faucets

Air that will not clear may come from a supply-line leak, the pump, the well, or work recently done on the system.

Taste, smell, or color changes

New stains, cloudiness, grit, or odor should be tested. TLC can help connect the results to the right treatment.

What to expect from TLC

How TLC finds and fixes a Bristol well problem

The visit follows four clear steps. You get an answer you can understand and a repair based on what the system actually needs.

  1. Ask about the problem

TLC asks what changed, when it started, and what happens when you use the water.

  2. Check the well system

The technician checks the pump, tank, switch, controls, water lines, and treatment equipment.

  3. Find the cause

The checks show which part is causing the trouble and whether another issue is adding to it.

  4. Explain and make the repair

TLC explains what was found, answers your questions, and completes the repair you approve.

What to notice around the home

Four clues can help TLC narrow the Bristol water problem

No special tools are needed. Notice the water, listen to the equipment, and tell TLC what was happening when the change began.

01

How much of the home

See whether the issue reaches every fixture, one floor, only hot water, or only fixtures served by treatment equipment.

02

How the pressure changes

Notice whether water begins strong, weakens during a shower, or returns after the system has rested for a while.

03

Where sounds come from

Listen near the tank and pump controls for clicks, humming, shaking, or a change in the usual run time.

04

What changed recently

Think about a power outage, storm, freeze, plumbing job, filter service, or digging before the water problem appeared.

Bristol well-repair questions

Clear guidance when the water system is not working

Can TLC come to Bristol for an urgent well outage?

Yes. TLC provides 24/7 emergency response for complete water loss and other urgent pump-system failures. Call (574) 314-2447 and describe what happened.

Why does the pressure pulse while I use a faucet?

The pressure tank, switch, controls, or pump may not be working smoothly. TLC checks the pressure cycle and connected parts to find the cause.

Can a small leak make the pump start too often?

Yes. A leak in the home, underground line, well-head fitting, or another connection can release pressure and make the pump cycle more than it should.

Should I keep resetting the breaker if water comes back?

No. If the breaker trips again, leave it off. The wiring, controls, motor, or pump may have a problem that needs safe testing.

Can TLC repair an older Bristol well system?

Yes. TLC checks the existing pump, tank, controls, lines, and well. Many problems can be repaired without replacing every part of the system.

Does clear water still need annual testing?

Yes. Some water concerns cannot be seen, smelled, or tasted. Indiana recommends annual private-well testing even when the water seems normal.
