Outstanding Service and Support I woke up this morning to zero water pressure and expected the worst. I called their service line, and instead of immediately scheduling a costly visit, the technician patiently walked me through a step‑by‑step troubleshooting process. With his guidance, I was able to isolate the issue and fix it myself — no service call needed. It’s rare to find a company that first ensures that the correct problem is identified before scheduling a service call. His professionalism and willingness to help saved me time, money, and a lot of stress. I couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommended.

Was having pressure issues. They walked me through some things on the phone and then came out on Saturday. -1 degree outside. Found a broken fitting by the well pump. Very reasonably priced and didn’t try to sell me a new pump that I didn’t need. I would call them anytime I have an issue. Thanks TLC

Highly recommend. They were able to troubleshoot the problem with the well over the phone on our initial call and patiently waited as I eventually did a temporary fix. On the service call to install a new tank and switch, they went above and beyond with an electrical issue, and even helped with a whole house water filter.

Very impressed with TLC Well Service. They came out on a Sunday in freezing cold temperatures to replace my well pump. Very professional and personable. Went above and beyond expectations to solve my problem. They continued checking and exceeded expectations days after the job was done. I highly recommend TLC for any well service you need.

One symptom can have several causes

TLC checks more than the part making the noise

Weak pressure or dry faucets may come from the pump, tank, switch, controls, pipes, filters, or well. TLC checks the likely causes before recommending a repair.

Roseland has many established homes on compact lots. Well equipment may be in a basement, crawlspace, or tight work area. TLC knows how to check the system without adding needless work.

You get a clear explanation of what failed and what it will take to fix it. TLC also points out any maintenance or testing that can help prevent another problem.

Changes inside a Roseland private system

Six signs that your Roseland well system needs help

Tell TLC what the water and pump are doing. We will check the system and find the cause.

Every fixture stops working

A whole-home outage may come from the power, controls, pump, tank, water line, or well. TLC checks each likely cause.

Pressure returns after a break

If water gets stronger after you stop using it, the pump, tank, pipes, or well may not be keeping up.

The pump starts too often

Fast cycling can come from the tank, switch, a hidden leak, or another part that is losing pressure.

You hear noise near the tank

Clicks, shaking, or banging near the tank can point TLC toward the problem. The full system still needs to be checked.

A filter or softener slows the water

A clogged filter or softener can reduce pressure. TLC can check the flow before and after the equipment.

A new taste or odor will not go away

Changes in both hot and cold water are a reason to test the water and check the treatment system.

What to expect from TLC

How TLC finds and fixes a Roseland well problem

The service visit follows four simple steps from the first questions through the final repair.

  1. Ask about the problem

TLC asks what the water is doing, when the change started, and which fixtures are affected.

  2. Check the well system

The technician checks the pump, tank, switch, controls, pipes, filters, and softener.

  3. Find the cause

The results show which part is not working and what is causing the water problem.

  4. Explain and make the repair

TLC explains what was found, answers your questions, and completes the repair that the system needs.

Notice what the water and equipment are doing

Four simple things to notice before you call

You do not need to name the failed part. Just tell TLC what you have noticed.

01

Scope

Notice whether the change affects every fixture, one floor, only hot water, or only water that passes through treatment equipment.

02

Timing

Notice whether the problem started at once, grew over time, or gets worse during showers or laundry.

03

Equipment behavior

Note new clicking, humming, or shaking. Also notice whether the pump starts more often or stays on longer.

04

Recent changes

Think about storms, freezing, power loss, plumbing work, or filter service before the problem started.

Roseland private-well questions

Practical answers for common water and equipment problems

Does TLC provide 24/7 well repair in Roseland?

Yes. TLC offers emergency response for urgent well failures, including no water, pump failure, severe pressure loss, and continuous cycling. Call (574) 314-2447 and describe the first change you noticed.

Why does my well pump click on and off so often?

The pressure tank, switch, a leak, or another water use may be making the pump start too often. TLC checks the pressure and controls to find the cause before the pump is damaged.

Can TLC help when only part of the house has weak pressure?

Yes. If the problem affects one floor, hot water, or treated water, the cause may be a valve, water heater, filter, softener, or pipe. TLC checks several fixtures to find where the pressure drops.

Could a filter or softener cause weak pressure?

Yes. A clogged filter, closed valve, or softener problem can slow the water. TLC can check the pressure before and after the equipment.

Can a failing pressure tank damage the well pump?

Yes. A bad tank can make the pump start far too often. Those repeated starts wear out the pump and controls, so new clicking or pressure surges should be checked soon.

How often should private well water be checked?

Test the water once a year and after flooding, major well work, or a clear change in taste, odor, color, or clarity. Schedule a system check each year and sooner when pressure, sound, or cycling changes.
