Outstanding Service and Support I woke up this morning to zero water pressure and expected the worst. I called their service line, and instead of immediately scheduling a costly visit, the technician patiently walked me through a step‑by‑step troubleshooting process. With his guidance, I was able to isolate the issue and fix it myself — no service call needed. It’s rare to find a company that first ensures that the correct problem is identified before scheduling a service call. His professionalism and willingness to help saved me time, money, and a lot of stress. I couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommended.

Was having pressure issues. They walked me through some things on the phone and then came out on Saturday. -1 degree outside. Found a broken fitting by the well pump. Very reasonably priced and didn’t try to sell me a new pump that I didn’t need. I would call them anytime I have an issue. Thanks TLC

Highly recommend. They were able to troubleshoot the problem with the well over the phone on our initial call and patiently waited as I eventually did a temporary fix. On the service call to install a new tank and switch, they went above and beyond with an electrical issue, and even helped with a whole house water filter.

Very impressed with TLC Well Service. They came out on a Sunday in freezing cold temperatures to replace my well pump. Very professional and personable. Went above and beyond expectations to solve my problem. They continued checking and exceeded expectations days after the job was done. I highly recommend TLC for any well service you need.

TLC checks the full water system

Weak pressure does not always mean the pump has failed

The pump, tank, switch, controls, pipes, filters, or well can all reduce pressure. TLC tests the likely causes before recommending new equipment.

North Liberty-area homes may have long water lines, outbuildings, and outdoor fixtures. Freezing and heavy seasonal use can also affect the system. TLC considers the whole property during the visit.

You get a clear answer about what is wrong and what it will take to fix it. TLC also explains any upkeep or testing that may help later.

Private-water changes worth recording

Six signs that your North Liberty-area well needs help

You do not have to know which part failed. Tell TLC what you see, hear, and feel when you use the water.

The house loses water

The cause may be a breaker, control, wire, pump, tank, water line, or well. TLC checks the full system.

Pressure drops during heavy use

Showers, laundry, animals, or outdoor water may be more than the pump, tank, pipes, or well can handle at once.

The pressure switch keeps clicking

Fast clicking can point to a tank, switch, control, leak, or pressure problem that needs service.

The pump keeps running

A worn pump, leak, blocked pipe, or well problem may keep the system from reaching the right pressure.

An outbuilding has weak pressure

Long pipes, hills, valves, leaks, freezing, and heavy use can reduce water at a barn or other building.

Taste, odor, or stains change

New water changes are a reason to test the water. TLC can then guide the right filter, softener, purification, or chlorination service.

What to expect from TLC

How TLC finds and fixes a North Liberty-area well problem

TLC follows four simple steps to find the cause and choose the right repair.

  1. Ask about the problem

TLC asks what you noticed, when it happens, and which fixtures or buildings have changed.

  2. Check the well system

The technician checks the pump, tank, pressure switch, controls, pipes, and filters used in the home.

  3. Find the cause

The inspection shows which part is failing and whether a leak or blocked line is involved.

  4. Explain and make the repair

TLC explains the findings, answers your questions, and completes the repair needed for steady water.

Four simple things to notice before you call

You do not need to diagnose the system. Tell TLC where and when the water problem happens.

01

Affected uses

Notice whether the change reaches the home, barn, hydrants, irrigation, or only one branch of the water system.

02

Pressure contrast

Compare the nearest fixture with the farthest and note when the difference becomes obvious.

03

Timing under use

Watch whether pressure fades during showers, laundry, or watering and returns after a break.

04

Recent warning signs

Think about new sounds, fast cycling, long pump runs, freezing, storms, digging, or plumbing work.

North Liberty well-service questions

Answers for pressure, pump, and water-quality concerns

Is emergency well help available near North Liberty?

Yes. TLC provides 24/7 response for urgent well failures within its service range. Call (574) 314-2447 and explain whether water stopped suddenly, pressure declined first, or the equipment began cycling or making noise.

Why does my pump keep running after the faucets are off?

The system may be struggling to reach shutoff pressure because of a leak, worn pump, restricted line, low well recovery, or control problem. Turn off equipment that is overheating or running abnormally and arrange a diagnosis before the motor is damaged.

Can TLC troubleshoot weak water at an outbuilding?

Yes. TLC can compare performance at the home and remote branch while considering pipe length, elevation, valves, freezing, leakage, simultaneous use, pump output, and tank condition.

Does low pressure always mean I need a larger pump?

No. The cause may be the tank, switch, filter, softener, a leak, long pipes, the well, or pump wear. TLC checks the system before recommending a different pump.

Should well water be tested after flooding or major repair?

Yes. Test after either event and continue yearly testing. A certified lab or the county health department can explain which tests you need.

Can TLC inspect an older well system before I purchase the property?

Yes. TLC can review accessible equipment and system operation. Buyers should also complete the county-required water testing for an onsite-well property transfer and review available well records when possible.
